Delete Your BurnCal AI Account

BurnCal AI users can request deletion of their account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how, what is removed, and what may be kept.

Short version: you can delete your account from inside the BurnCal AI app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing support@whatyouappingaboutservices.com. Deletion removes your profile and everything you logged in the app. A small set of records may be retained only where law, security, fraud-prevention or financial-record obligations require it. No sign-in is needed to read this page.

The app and the developer

This request applies to the BurnCal AI account you hold with What You Apping About Services, whether you use the app on Android, on iOS, or through the web.

Delete your account from the BurnCal AI app

This is the fastest route, and it removes the account rather than just signing you out of it.

  1. Open the BurnCal AI app on your device and make sure you are signed in to the account you want deleted.
  2. Open Settings from the profile or menu control — the same panel that holds your body metrics and unit preference.
  3. Select Account, then scroll to the bottom of that section.
  4. Tap Delete account. It sits apart from Sign out, because it does something permanent.
  5. Read the notice and confirm. You may be asked to re-enter your credentials so we know the request came from you.
  6. Watch for the confirmation. The request is recorded immediately and completed within 30 days; you receive a confirmation once it has been carried out.

Deletion is permanent. Your sessions, activity log and profile cannot be restored afterwards, so export or note anything you want to keep before you confirm.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot reach the in-app control — an older build of the app, a device you no longer have, or an account you can no longer sign in to — ask us to do it instead. Email support@whatyouappingaboutservices.com with the subject BurnCal AI account deletion request.

Please include:

  • The email address or username registered to the account.
  • The platform you use: Android, iOS or web.
  • A clear statement that you want the account and its associated personal data deleted.

Sending it from the registered address is the quickest way for us to verify the request. We acknowledge within 5 business days and complete verified requests within 30 days. Verification exists so that nobody else can delete your account; if we cannot confirm you own it, we will tell you why rather than proceed.

What data is deleted

Deleting your BurnCal AI account removes your account record together with the data you created in the app:

  • Account information. Your account record and internal identifier, your email address or username, authentication credentials, and any early-access or founding-member record tied to the same address.
  • Profile information. The body metrics you saved — weight, height, age, sex basis used for resting metabolic rate, activity factor — along with your unit and display preferences.
  • User-created app data. Every activity session you logged or had interpreted: activity names, durations, MET values, intensity tiers, gross and net calorie figures, notes, your full activity history, and the weekly summaries and coaching briefs derived from it.
  • Text you submitted for interpretation. The free-text session descriptions you typed, and the classified segments and reasoning stored against them.
  • Device and preference records. Identifiers, cookies and stored settings tied to your account, including any cached copy of your log held on your device once the app is signed out or removed.

Aggregated or de-identified figures that can no longer be linked to you or to any individual may remain in service-level totals. They contain no personal data.

What may be retained, and why

A limited set of records may be kept after your account is deleted, and only where we are required to keep them:

  • Legal obligations. Records we must retain under applicable law, or to respond to a lawful request, for the period that law specifies.
  • Security. Minimal security and access logs needed to protect the service and its users, and to investigate incidents.
  • Fraud prevention. Limited records needed to detect, investigate or prevent fraud and abuse of the service.
  • Financial records. Purchase, subscription and receipt records where accounting, tax or audit rules require them to be kept.

Retention is limited to the minimum necessary and to the period the obligation demands, after which those records are deleted as well. Nothing retained on these grounds is used to rebuild your profile, to personalise the service, or for advertising.

Removing the app is not the same as deleting the account

Uninstalling BurnCal AI takes it off your device but leaves your account and its data in place. To have them deleted, use the in-app control or the email route above so the request is actually recorded.
